Dear Y4-6 teachers and EAL/LS Teachers,

The ISA reports for individual students have arrived, and we will be distributing hard copies to class teachers this week (EAL and LS teachers will receive a soft copy of all reports). Once you receive the reports, please look through them to identify any results which do not reflect the child’s ability, or that the teacher feels will be of concern to the parents. This will help prepare the teacher and/or leaders for any subsequent parent meetings regarding the results. If you feel that any parents will be significantly concerned by the results, then it would be good to be proactive and arrange a meeting with the parent just prior to them receiving the report  –  in other words, arrange the meeting for either 10-11 February. EAL/LS teachers will look through their own students’ reports, and discuss results with the relevant class teachers.

Please fill in this template (click here) for just the students where there may be an issue and send to me by February 5th – I have listed a few examples below fyi.

When you receive the hard copy of the ISA reports, please keep them safe (where students cannot access them) until the date of distribution (12th February). Please do not hand out the reports to students yet or discuss them with parents at the PT Interviews.

Please click here  for the timeline of analysis of these results. As can be seen, we will be analysing the results in more detail later this semester, and  I will send more info on this nearer to the date.

If you have any questions or concerns about the reports, then please let me know.

Thanks,

Rob
