Primary Photographs – Procedures

Dear Teachers,

As you know students photographs have been sent home today and parents have received the following letter. ECE and Primary School Photographs

To ensure the money collection goes smoothly please read and be aware of the procedures for your campus. The deadline to purchase them is by Friday 20th November, please remind parents of this via the diary. Also, note the envelope must be received by the school office before noon each day to allow them time to work with accounts.

Photos to be saved on the Yearbook server – Primary

Dear Primary Teachers,

This year we will be saving all the photographs of events and class pictures directly on the yearbook server. This will make it easier when compiling the Yearbook, as well as ensuring that all photos are centrally stored. The network paths are shown below:

CP – smb://10.5.1.1/Yearbook/Yearbook 2015-2016/PRIMARY/PHOTOS

Within the photos folder you will see subfolders for all the events that will take place during this school year. You will also find class folders here. If a folder for a particular event has been missed out, please inform Amita.

Please do not create any folders to store photos on teachers pub.

Please remember to take lots of pictures and save them directly on to the yearbook server.

Primary Marketing Photographs – Friday 18th September

Dear Primary Teachers,

On Friday, September 18, a small team of photographers will work with our school’s Marketing Division to take a series of photos of our students for our internal and external promotions.

The photographers and Marketing Team will be visiting a range of pre-identified classes (see schedule below), and will also take photos during key congregation times (e.g. arriving at campus, breaks, lunch, and boarding the school bus).

If the photographers are scheduled to come into your classroom during a lesson, then please carry on as normal. It would be good also to inform the students prior to the day, so as to ensure that they are not surprised or silly. Some photos will require a slightly ‘set-up’ scenario – in which case the photographers will guide you.

A few individual students will have photos taken after school. If one of these students is in your class, then you will be notified separately.

The photographers will be informed which students do not have permission to be photographed, and they will ensure that they are not included in any external marketing photographs taken inside or outside of the classrooms.

A letter explaining this will be sent to all parents shortly, and will also request that proper uniform be worn on the day.

ECE Daily News- Monday 14 September

Fire Drill Information
The H & S committee has planned for some emergency drills to take place leading up to the Accreditation team visiting.
The first of these will be a fire drill. (Monday 21st Sept, about 9am)
A list of procedures can be found in every classroom near the front door, or on the Blog under the Handbook tab. Please ensure the correct items are in the emergency bags behind your doors, including up to date class lists.
Can teachers talk with students about the procedures and what is expected from them. Particularly with regard to moving quietly in the stairwells, walking with their teacher/s to their class spot, and using the nearest available doors. Maybe practice with your class during a circle time.

Student and Class Photographs for Primary

Dear Teachers,
Next week all Primary students (and teachers) will have their individual photograph taken as well as the class group photograph. These are for the Yearbook as well as for parents to purchase. These will be take place in the Auditorium at RP (Wed-Fri) and the Library at CP (Mon-Tues). These venues will be closed to students on these days.

Schedule for Photos 2015-16 Teachers’ Copy

Please see the attached schedule and read the notes carefully. It is important that teachers are clear about what uniform is expected on the day. Please also remind your students the day before via the school diary using the example reminder in the attachment.

The parent letter will also be sent home today and a copy is also attached below.
