Book Week next week, Week 10 (in case you had forgotten : ) From Tania

Thank you..

  • ..Year 1-6 co-teachers for making Buddy Reading arrangements. Organise with your buddy class where and when the activity will take place and who is checking out books for students to read.
  • ..Year 1-4 co-teachers, for signing-up for a time to visit the Book Fair with your class on Teams (YCISSH Pudong ECE & Primary Teachers> General> Files > Book Fair sign-up)
  • ..Year 1-6 co-teachers (and EAL classes welcome too), for inviting parents to read to the class during the week. Parents looking for books to read can be given my e-mail.
  • ..co-teachers for getting parents involved in door decoration. ‘R & R: Reading & Relaxation’ theme (think images of leisurely reading or your own interpretation)
  • ..for letting Kelly in the RP library or Laura in the CP library know if your library time needs to change next week.

Btw, Julia has told me she is interested in getting a foot massage when she is here. I’m as likely to have a foot massage that week as an alien landing. I also get the impression that she likes Thai food. If anyone is interested in hooking up with the author for a foot massage and/or Thai food during her visit, let me know!

Student Council to meet with Tania today

  • Year 5 & 6 co-teachers, please remind student council members in your class to meet with Tania at 10am in the Year 5 Learning Community this morning.
  • Year 3 & 4 co-teachers, please remind student council members in your class to meet with Tania at lunch recess in the RP library.

These students are going to help promote Book Week to Year 1-6 classes this week, so be prepared for them to drop-in or ask for a moment that they might speak to your kids in the coming week.

Thanks!
