Staff Absence and Cover Arrangement

  • Caroline Haigh (Training until 16th Oct). Vicky Qu will be the main contact for Student Support for Y5-6. CP teachers can contact Jane Xie if something urgent comes up that is Child Protection related.
  • Sheryl Fisher (Sick Leave). Wing Li to Cover
  • Rob Cooke (CIS Accreditation Visit) – Meena to cover
  • Lang Feng (sick leave) – Paweena to cover
  • Janie Dong (sick leave – afternoon). No Cover needed
  • Haruka is unwell today, and so the parent activity which was due to take place this morning in the RP Courtyard will be postponed to another date. Parents have been informed.

 

Message from Student Support

Teachers, please note that B305 will be staffed all day tomorrow with a member of the student support team. Any student who is finding the change of routine / Founders Day activities overwhelming is welcome to utilize the space – see schedule below:

 

Founder’s Day- Friday 13th October

  • Founder’s Day Live Feed link if classes/teachers wish to have a watch
  • Founder’s Day Photo for RP Campus — can each class please add 5 photos of Founder’s Day activities in the below folder, and email Karen to notify her by the end of the day.  Also don’t forget to post some photos on your class Seesaw to share with the parents.
  • Student snack (cakes) will distribute at the following time, please pay attention on the allergic student to take own snack.
    • ECE: 9:45am
    • Primary: 9:30am
  • Students’ Good Wish Notes: Each class has received a piece of paper for each child. We encourage students to write a message/draw a picture a related to Founders Day, to express their aspirations/hopes for themselves and the school over the next five years. These notes should include the student’s full name, class, and Year Level. Please send to school office by the end of today, so that we can make a display.
  • Temporary Tattoos: Each class has received a sheet of temporary tattoos for their students. For RP, please send these home with the students rather than hand them out (see picture below)
  • Stickers – You have also received a sheet of 30th Anniversary stickers, which can be placed on children’s t-shirts at the start of the day. (see picture below)
  • Coffee, tea – available in the staff rooms around 9:30am, Enjoy!

Preparing for AJA visit:

  • Check your room and hallways to ensure all resources are tidy and neat as the tour will encompass learning areas, including Classrooms, Gym, Art, Music, Library, Auditorium, cafeteria and hallways.
  • Displays – please ensure displays are well presented inside and outside your classrooms
  • Red Courtyard will be the main area for AJA campus visit, support division will set up at the end of today.
  • All Primary building rooms will be opened on Sat during the visit time.
  • Y1A  will also be used as a rest/rehearsal room for performing student and parents. Please mindful your personal belonging in your room.

 

House Colour T-Shirt

  • See the attached list for students who require a new T-shirt. Teachers can collect the new T-shirt from the office:RP House T-Shirt list
  • For any new student who joined late this year and has yet to collect their T-shirt, teachers can collect a new one from the office
