Today is Green Air
ECE Resource room– I have noticed that when items are returned they are sometimes placed on the floor or shelves. Can you please ensure they go back into the correct container so others can use them later.
School Photos– Please refer to the Blog post Rob sent out yesterday for details. Photos are on Tuesday 25 Oct, l know this may mean you need to be flexible in what you have planned of your class that day. If you have a planning session please make sure you attend the photos then go back to your planning. 25, 26, 27th No ECE staffroom, due to the room being used of rat photos. Please have lunch in the cafeteria or the Primary staffroom on these days.
K4s we will stop Body rest at 1pm on this day so you can all be ready for the photos.
Staff Meeting– When you bring along something to share that you have been trying in your class, it does not have to be big. It can be the way you are thinking about your questions, or the way you have set up the room. What are you doing to encourage the children to learn through thinking and expanding their knowledge.
We will also be visiting the classrooms as part of the meeting.
Dear ECE Teachers,
Our Primary ASA Programme has quickly grown over the past two years and we are always looking for new ASAs. Damien mentioned to me that some ECE Teachers might be interested in organising an ASA for primary students (Year 1-5) because they are passionate about something and would love to share this passion with our primary students. Possible ASAs could be:
Active ASAs, Artistic ASAs, Creative ASAs or Academic ASAs. All primary ASAs are organised on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 3:30-4:30pm.
If you would be interested in running an ASA after the Christmas holiday, please contact Lennart: lennart.vanvlerken@sh.ycef.com. He will then get back to you with more information. Supporting a primary teacher in running an ASA could also be an option.

Friday 28 Oct- Parent Teacher Interviews- Book fair in Court Yard- Teachers get 10% off
