The Boy Friend – Opening Tuesday, April 17th

This year’s Secondary Musical, The Boy Friend, will be opening for it’s first evening performance next Tuesday evening at 6pm, featuring a cast of talented students from Years 7-12. Madame Dubonnet’s finishing school, near Nice, could exist only in musical comedy. The charming young pupils burst into song at the least provocation, and forbidden boyfriends are forever popping through the French windows to make up the numbers. Polly Browne is too rich to be allowed a boyfriend. Tony, for whom she falls, turns out to be the Honourable Tony Brockhurst, which is very lucky, because Polly thought he was just a delivery boy. Written in the fifties as “a new musical of the twenties”, this is a tuneful and witty send-up musical.  Tickets are available from CP office and upon request from the RP office.
