School Closure & ClassIn

We hope that your ClassIn and online activities went well yesterday. We have sent a feedback form to parents and will collate the information and share with you soon. If you have any feedback, please let your YL Leader know and they can pass on to Leaders or please email us directly. For now, some positive feedback to share with you from one family:

Some points to note:

  • If there were any students that did not attend and a reason was not given, please can you get in touch with them to see if it was an issue with logging in to ClassIn. It would be important to correct the issue so we are ready for next time.

 

  • New ClassIn sticker: Please come by to pick up New ClassIn stickers from the school office (K2-K3: ECE office, K4-Y4: RP Primary Office. Y5-6: CP Office) .  For students whose Login was updated only. Please refer to the attached list.

The Shire (RP) 

We will open this up during recesses starting from today. To avoid a huge rush, we only wish to have one year level playing on it at any one given time. Please note the following measures:

  • Morning/Afternoon recess – please can the Y1-2 and Y3-4 team leaders work out a rotation system. Eg Y1 morning recess, Y2 afternoon recess,…or equivalent  – YL, please decide between you.
  • Lunch recess – This will be fully open, as only one year level is outside at any given time.

For duty teachers, please be very vigilant. We can reflect on these arrangements at the end of this week, and make changes if necessary. Please see a CLT member for any immediate concerns.

Hand Foot & Mouth Disease

  • From time to time we do have cases that pop up in primary school. We have just been informed of a case in Year 5.
  • Please can you continue to remind your students the importance of hand washing and general hygiene habits at school.

IIIP Instrumental Music – Starts This Week!

Instrumental Music lessons are back for 2021. RP Teachers, please examine the attached RP schedule and help to advise any listed students from your classes of their lesson times.  Please advise CP students that after school lessons will not run until Wednesday.

 

 

Y5 & Y6 Rock Bands

Teachers please advise students that Rock Bands will start this week according to the attached band list and schedule.

 

Staff Fitness (Regency Park) 

 Keep fit, de-stress and socialize with us! 😊 We are introducing a new flexible fitness schedule at RP.

 Each week we will offer a range of fitness/wellbeing activities for staff ranging from Yoga, Zumba, circuits, HIIT, resistance and weight training. 

 No obligation to join all classes, or each week, and all fitness levels welcome! The days and times of sessions will vary each week, to fit with staff and school schedules. Equipment provided, wear comfortable sports clothes and bring a water bottle.
