Primary Daily News – Wednesday, April 11 (Day 1)

RP School Photos – Yearbook

These take place today. A couple of points to note:

• There has been a couple of slight changes to the photo schedule. Please check out the blogpost here to check the schedule (changes are highlighted in yellow).
• Please also ensure you are aware of the students who are having their photograph taken. Student lists can also be found on the  blogpost: RP Make-Up Photos Student List
• Photos will take place in the Auditorium
• Please ensure the students arrive 5 minutes before the scheduled time.
• Please check in the morning that the students have the correct uniform/kit for the photo.
• Y6 buses will leave at 10.10pm, and will return after the photographs have been taken.
• As these photographs are being used for the yearbook, it is very important that all teachers have had their photograph taken, if they did not have it taken in November. If you are unable to remember if you did have a photograph taken earlier in the year, then please check the yearbook server.

Hard Copy of School Photographs

You will receive these from the office today. Please send them home today. A letter will accompany the photographs.

Staff Meeting

• This takes place today – 3.30pm-5.00pm in the RP Auditorium.
• Zoe will lead the main agenda item – effective strategies in teaching Wellbeing.
• Please remember to bring your reusable mug to the staff meeting for your coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.

Y4-5 Environment Assembly

This will take place in the gym, 2.30pm

Code Blue Lockdown – feedback

Thank you everyone for participating in the Code Blue lock down yesterday. Everyone was locked down with in 3-4 mins, so well done. However we would still like to know how we can improve, so if anyone had any feedback, including concerns or issues, then please can you let either Andrea G or Veronica know.

Hats

• Duty teachers – please ensure that you remind children without a hat to bring one in for Recess/PE. The ‘No hat today, shade at play’ rule will come into effect from next week.
• Class teachers – please remind the children through a note in the diary about bringing a hat to school – see yesterday’s email for a sample message.
