On Friday October 9, we will celebrate Founder’s Day as we do at this time every year. Our Founder for those new to YCIS is Madam Tsang Chor-hang, who started Yew Chung in Hong Kong in 1932. Madam Tsang Chor-hang has since passed away but her daughter is our current Director, Dr. Chan.
Founder’s Day involves all YCIS and Yew Wah schools coming together for an assembly with a live feed to HK in the morning. Then, all the campuses spend the day enjoying sports activities to celebrate our school spirit. It is a fun day – some of the features are the Founder’s Day Run, and the Staff v Student matches at the end of the day.  All classes from ECE to Year 6 will be involved in some of the Founder’s Day Activities.
This year, the live feed will go to Century Park Campus (as only one Shanghai campus is featured in the live feed) so we have decided the Year 5-6 students will spend the whole day at CP campus (not visit RP as they did last year).  Please see the basic overview of the day for each campus:
