Kids’ Night In Y1-5

The date of our Annual Kid’s Night In has been decided, and will take place on Friday, May 17th from 3:30 to 6:30pm. Classroom teachers will not need to prepare anything, but will lead their class through the rotations that night. A post regarding detailed information and schedule will follow soon.

Please ensure to mark your calendars of this date, as this is one of the school events during the year in which all staff are expected to attend and help out.

Year 6 will not be taking part in this, as they will be included in the CP Fun Night, organised by the CP Student Council. Again, more info on this will follow soon.

Please speak to Zoe or Andrea (Kid’s Night In Planners) if you have any questions.

Salad

We have now received the license from the FDA to serve salad during the RP lunch. This will start from tomorrow. The second salad bar will replace the dis-used sandwich bar in the corner. Please can the duty teachers encourage students to go to the second salad bar if there are too many students around the first one. It may take a couple of days for the students to get into the routine.

Class-Teachers – please can you inform your classes. Parents will be notified via email today.

For staff, the FDA have put into place new guidelines for food storage and transportation. In this regard, salad/uncooked vegetables cannot be taken to the Staff room, without proper refrigeration. We are currently looking at a solution for this, but in the meantime, teachers will need to take their salad from the cafeteria, and take it themselves to the staff room. We will update you as soon as we have further information.

International Teacher Leave This Week

John will be away all week and Andrea will handle cover and take sick leave calls.  Her phone number is:158 2176 8025.
