Y1 Violin Rehearsal Information – Reminder
- 8:30am: Year 1 students & teachers depart RP
- 8:45am: Students to be seated in theatre – music team to give instructions on stage entrances and exits
- 9:00am: Practice of stage entrances and exits according to program (this part without instruments on Wednesday)
- 9:40am: Year 1 Recess and snack (provided by CP Eurest)
- 10:10am: Year 1 students to be issued with violins in CP for rehearsal of concert items in sequence
- 11:15am: Year 1 students return to RP (Lunch at RP Campus)

Year 4-6 Sports Day
Please remind your students that the Year 4-6 Sports Day will be tomorrow and that they should wear any t-shirt in their house colour. It looks like it will be warm and sunny, so students should bring a hat, sunscreen and water bottle. Please also let the students know that if the pollution is high, we will postpone it to another day in the interests of their health. However, a decision will not be made until the morning, and they should come in wearing their house colors regardless.
Obido Reading Club flyers – Message from Tania
Flyers from the local bookstore, Obido, should be brought to your classroom today. Please send these home with your students. Two extra copies are included for both co-teachers.
All ordering is done online and books will be delivered to homes, not schools. Because there is some overlap with the ages and the flyers that are available, many year levels will receive two catalogues.
- K2: Early Years (0-3yrs) flyers
- K3: Early Years (0-3yrs) and Reading Together (3-8yrs) flyers
- K4: Early Years (0-3yrs) and Reading Together (3-8yrs) flyers
- Year 1: Reading Together (3-8yrs) flyers
- Year 2: Reading Together (3-8yrs) flyers
- Year 3: Reading Together (3-8yrs) and Emerging Readers (7-11yrs) flyers
- Year 4: Reading Together (3-8yrs) and Emerging Readers (7-11yrs) flyers
- Year 5: Emerging Readers (7-11yrs) and Confident Readers (9yrs+) flyers
- Year 6: Emerging Readers (7-11yrs) and Confident Readers (9yrs+) flyers
All catalogues can be downloaded online from the Obido website. If there are children from younger years who would like to take a look at the flyers for older students (and vice versa), please let them know they can go to the Obido website to download them and order any of those books as well.
If you or parents have any other questions, you can direct them to me.
Please let parents know via student diaries/communication booklets that ‘Book order forms are being sent home. All ordering is done online and there is no deadline for ordering’.
