RP Art Show – Message from Anita
The Art Show is open for everyone to visit starting today. There are a few important reminders I would love for classroom teachers to share with their students.
- Do not touch anything in the art show. Even if you are only touching your own artwork, you might accidentally knock over another student’s artwork.
- No running or playing is allowed in the green courtyard. Many student think it is fun to play hide and seek or tag while dodging between and behind the display boards. This is dangerous as the display boards could topple over if hit and injure people of all sizes.
- There are iPads associated with some of the displays. They are to be used ONLY for the movies and slideshows about the artwork. Students are NOT to use the iPads to play games. Please remind them not to exit out of the app where the movie is set up. They should only touch the iPad if they need to press the play button to start the movie again.
- Try to answer the questions that go with each display. Every student should be able to handle the questions with the red cover. The more challenging questions are under the orange paper.
- Students are only allowed in the art show during recess times if the duty teacher is present. The Duty teacher should monitor and make sure all students are following the above rules.
Remember also to take your class to visit the art show. The sign-up schedule is still on the white-board in the RP staff room, so if your class has yet to sign up, please do so (this will help avoid having too many classes visit at the same time).

Olivia has started work as an admissions offer at the RP/CP Campuses. If you see her around the school, then please introduce yourself and make her feel welcome.
Upcoming Dates/Reminders
- Secondary Exams (CP) – Please remind your class to be considerate around around the corridors this week
- Secondary Musical – Please be reminded that there will be rehearsals in the Auditorium for much of this week. Also, tickets are available form the CP school office for the performances on Thursday and Friday evenings Charlie Brown
- Staff Meetings this week – On Wednesday, RP will have a meeting regarding the Year Book, and CP will have Year Level Meetings
- RP SLCs – Thursday 16th April
- Year Book Photo Re-takes – Monday 20th April. More info to follow.
