* Note:  if you have especially good academic results and / or other achievements, you may be offered a place at the University before other applicants are considered. If you have particularly impressive results or regard HKU as your first choice, you would be advised to apply via Fast-Track. The deadline for Fast-Track admissions is November 16, 2013.

Under Fast-Track, it is intended that offers will be made around January 2013. If you wish to accept any offer of a place under Fast-Track admissions, you will have two weeks to consider the offer and you will be required to pay a deposit of 10,000HKD  to confirm your place.

Please Note: those who are offered a place in fast-track admissions will be assessed more on their current school academic performance, etc. Those who are considered at a later stage are required to submit results of their examinations at the end of the school year and offers of admission may be based on those results and other factors. If you are not selected or shortlisted during fast-track admissions, your application will be considered further in the normal selection exercise. You will not be disadvantaged in any way because of this choice.
