Good Morning,

CAS Opportunities – Message from Dudley

Please reply directly to Dudley and cc John if you can help out and would like some help from our fantastic Y12 & Y13s next week – see message below:

From Dudley (CP Secondary): Will you need any help with activities for next week, where Year 12 & 13 students can assist during your live sessions? This will be a great opportunity for some of them that still need to fulfil CAS requirements. Once I receive these requests I can assign students to help. They need to be very specific e.g. day, time and activity. This could be a revision session where these students can join breakout rooms to do some peer teaching.

Students Overseas – Primary

If you received John’s email about overseas students last night,  please can we ask you to complete this as a priority this morning. This should be a quick task. We need this information for a meeting at 8.45am. Apologies for the tight timescale and thanks for your help with this.

Community & Connection for Next Week – Message from Damien

We would like to put together another Community and Connection email which will go out on Tuesday morning of next week to promote activities for next week.  If you would like to run an activity, please send me the details (use the examples in email sent yesterday) by 4:00pm today.  Unless I hear otherwise, I will keep yoga, walking group, book club and the happy hour on the list for next week.  If you have any Guardian Angels, please send them through as well.  Staff families are welcome to join activities where appropriate.

Resources for next week
For a selection of fun activities, this is a great website covering a wide range of curriculum areas. https://wideopenschool.org

One excellent resource on there is virtual field trips – you might wish to “send” your kids on a virtual trip as one of these fun activities. There are many other good resources linked to on here. Please do check that anything you set works without a VPN.
