Playground Safety

It has been noted that some children are using the tall triangular play structure inappropriately. Recently they have started to climb to the top and then slide down the middle pole. Today we had an accident. Please can I remind all teachers supervising the far side of the play structure to be vigilant in watching the students here. Can I ask that all class teachers speak to their class as students are only to climb up and down this play structure and not slide down the pole.

 

Amended Duty Roster

  • We have many leaders out on camps, and Y4 are at CP for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  Please find a revised duty roster for next week. Teachers who are covering duties or have an additional duty have been notified. Please make note of the following points:
  • The courtyard will be shut for recesses for Y3 on Wed, Thu and Fri (Hayes-please ensure it is locked at these times).
  • For cover during the day, this is just a change of location in most cases, but some people have had their duty times changed.
  • WEEK 8 RP-Duty-Amended Roster

 

Camps

  • Year 5 will be heading out on camp today to Nanbeihu.
  • Please note: Dorothy will be attending the Year 5 Camp, replacing Jon Banks. Jon will remain at RP campus covering Dorothy’s classes and other supply as needed.

 

Year 4

  • All Year 4 classes will be heading over to CP Campus to  use the Learning Communities from Wednesday to Friday.

 

Curriculum Assembly – Year 3D @ 2:30pm

  • Please ensure that teachers have given their curriculum awards to Melissa prior to the assembly.

 

Staff Meeting @3:30pm

  • Tania will be sharing all the information about Book Week!Team meetings can follow this if needed.

 

RP School Photos

School photos will take place today for K4, Year 1 & Make-Up Photos

 

A reminder of the following points:

  • Photos take place in the ECE Library
  • Both class photos and individual portraits will be taken for ALL students.
  • Please be on time – schedule is tight
  • Bring your students in order of the register (alphabetical) as this will make the process quicker
  • Class teachers to have their photo taken at the same time as their class

Staff Photos

    • Today is the last day for any specialists/EAL/LS to have their photo taken. It is very important that every staff member has their individual photograph taken, as we will use them for the Year Book.

Helping Hands

  • Fo Year Level Leaders and specialists who have not done so already, please send your Helping Hands review comments to Melissa by the end of the week.

 

Music Assemblies

  • We would like you to have music playing at assemblies when the students come in and at the end. The students should be reminded to sit quietly and listen to the music. You can choose your own music, or there is music at: Teachers Pub/PRIMARY/RP music/2019-2020/Assemblies/Assemblies music for year levels.
