Messages from Tania
  • Link for parents requesting recommended English reading:
    • Parents often ask for recommended reading during meetings with teachers. In addition to your own recommendations, please direct parents to this site that I’ve built using Libguides, an online platform for libraries to share information with the community:
    • The site features new and age-appropriate books in the libraries (ECE, RP and CP). My and the other librarian’s emails are easily accessible on the site.
    • Recommendations are limited at the moment, but I will continue to add to the list. I hope it might increase parents interest in borrowing for their children (each parent can borrow 3 books for each child at the school).
  • Book Fair on day of the Learning Conference
    • FYI, a Chinese and an English book vendor will hold a book fair on the day of the learning conferences at each campus (this Thursday 2nd November in the CP library and Friday 3rd November in the RP courtyard).  Both vendors are offering a 10% discount on the store price, to students/parents and staff. Communication about the fairs will be sent to parents via class WeChat groups.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part of our first POP event of the year on Saturday, October 21. Everyone made a difference thanks to their presence.

As we are soon getting prepared for the next event on Friday November 24 for Christmas Tree Lighting at CP, we would greatly appreciate your feedback from the different involvement you had at the event: visitors, vendors, volunteers, performers, etc.

Your opinion counts!
